The car park with easy navigation and a clear identity

We helped Fabege give Arenagaraget a unique identity and a more pleasant visitor experience.

The car park beneath the Friends Arena in Solna has the capacity for 750 vehicles. The parking is used by residents as well as visitors to the Friends Arena and Mall of Scandinavia. The challenge consisted in transforming the dimly lit, cramped and convoluted maze of an old-fashioned garage into a safe, welcoming place capable of generating new income for the property owner. The car park received a wayfinding makeover and an identity facelift through the addition of identifying elements, colour-coded zones and Fabege brand colours. A new design concept was implemented to strengthen the identity, simplify navigation, and improve the visitor experience. Visibility at entrances and exits was improved and safety was enhanced by markers and protective solutions. Our efforts with Arenagaraget have led to higher utilisation of the parking areas, both when it comes to short-term parking and monthly rentals. The concept turned into the platform and launch pad for Fabege’s other upcoming car park projects.
