• NEON-RESEMBLING LED SIGNS
    retro feel with modern technology

Neon signs have been a much appreciated feature of the city skyline ever since they first appeared in the 1920s. They create a warm light and make a beautiful, classical impression. But neon lights have a high energy consumption and contain, unfortunately, a number of environmentally hazardous substances, so we have developed a solution that produces the classic neon sign in a new guise. With energy-efficient and environmentally friendly neon-resembling LED technology, we replace traditional neon without compromising on feel and performance.

THE ADVANTAGES OF NEON-RESEMBLING LED SIGNAGE

  • Intense and even light
  • Good for large signs and long reading distances
  • Long life
  • Low energy consumption
  • Environmentally friendly – no toxins during production and no harmful residues when scrapped

LED SIGNAGE RESEMBLING NEON

The signs are constructed by means of LED technology that has been developed to replace visible neon tubes in the signs. It is used both for new signage and to renew old neon signs.

The method of construction allows the text to be very detailed, with unlimited angles and radii, and without joints. With LPFLEX-technology, the signs can be manufactured in all colours available in acrylic or foil. The front and sides of the lettering are manufactured from aluminium, which is coated in any colour. To give the lettering a durable surface, the letters are coated with a water-based car paint. The front can be fitted with an edge which screens the light and sharpens the letter contours, if desired. The light source is mounted on the letter front, either centred or in the contour.

UPGRADE YOUR OLD NEON SIGN WITH LED TECHNOLOGY

Nowadays, many classic neon signs have been replaced with signs with neon-resembling LEDs. We have renovated many classic landmarks, and installed new technology to last for many years to come. Some well-known examples are the Coca-Cola sign at Slussen in Stockholm, the NK clock on Hamngatan in Stockholm, and the Andvord House in Oslo. We call it LED conversion.
